Guidance Curriculum

The following guidance topics are required by TEA. Counselors will provide training for faculty if they are covered in advisory. If not covered in advisory, counselors will conduct classroom guidance:

• Colleges and Careers
• Organization and Goal Setting
• Drug Awareness - October
• Bullying - October, November, January and May
• Healthy Relationships (Dating Violence)
• Internet Safety
• Suicide Prevention

May be best addressed by counselor classroom guidance lessons.
